Current Research Projects

From understanding to rational design of next-generation cancer therapies

This project aims to combine immunotherapy with classical cancer therapies at ultra-low, sublethal doses to maximize efficacy. Informed by single-cell analyses and advanced statistical inference methods, we employ mathematical modeling of intracellular damage dynamics to maximize treatment efficacy.

Dissecting and overcoming collective therapy resistance

This project studies how cancer cells collectively survive and resist treatment. We identify which cells resist chemotherapy using advanced data analysis methods and find new ways to target them. We simulate collective cancer cell behavior using a mechanistic model predicting effective treatment strategies. The ultimate goal is discovering new treatment combinations targeting cancer cell interactions and resistance.
